Texas is Flooding Again & We’re Already There

Since the July 4, 2025, Texas floods, All Hands & Hearts has been supporting long-term recovery in Hill Country in Central Texas, helping dozens of families rebuild homes and restore their communities along the Guadalupe River. Now, just over one year after devastating floods forever changed lives across the Texas Hill Country, disaster has struck once again.

Torrential rainfall triggered widespread flooding across southern Texas overnight. At least two people have lost their lives, more than 230 water rescues have been carried out, and parts of the region have received nearly a year’s worth of rainfall in just three days. This time, the damage appears even more widespread, reaching homes and businesses that were untouched by last year’s flooding.

A Painfully Familiar Disaster

For homeowners we’ve come to know over the past year, this disaster is painfully familiar. Already, four of the homes we’ve helped repair since last year’s floods have flooded again. Families who were only beginning to rebuild are once again facing rising water, uncertainty, and heartbreak.

Our teams are on the ground and mobilizing now, ready to jump into action the moment it’s safe to do so.

A Year of Standing Alongside Texas

All Hands & Hearts has remained in Texas since the July 2025 floods, helping dozens of families recover and return home. Over the past year, our work has included:

  • Muck-and-gut operations and mold sanitation
  • Home rebuilding and repair
  • Debris clearing
  • Food, clean water, and critical essentials
  • Temporary housing support

Beyond the physical rebuilding, we’ve stood beside these communities long after the headlines faded. As 2025 survivor Sarah put it, reflecting on the flood’s anniversary:

Sarah, 2025 Texas Flood Survivor

“The wounds are still open. It’s good to know that you’re not alone, and all the support coming close and from far has really made a difference.”

What Comes Next

While emergency response teams carry out life-saving rescues, our focus also turns toward what comes next. Just as we did a year ago, we’ll stand alongside these communities as they begin the difficult journey of recovery, helping families rebuild not only their homes, but also their sense of stability, hope, and normalcy.

We’ll continue to share updates as the situation develops.

Thank you for standing with these communities alongside us.
