Fresh produce, child nutrition packs, and shelter support reach families across Gaza

All Hands & Hearts, together with local partners, is working around the clock to quickly deliver life-saving aid shipments, food and hygiene kits to shelter materials and child nutrition support, reaching tens of thousands of people each week.

At the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza City (pictured above), our team delivered tarps, fresh produce and milk to Father Gabriel Romanelli’s parish, which continues to shelter 500 people and support over 7,000 families with food, water and medical care — even after the church suffered damage in an attack earlier this year.

Winter is coming fast to Gaza, and with it, freezing temperatures that make life even harder for displaced families already facing immense challenges.

We’ve stepped in with urgent help.

Last week alone, more than 57,000 people received kits consisting of tarps, rope and duct tape. These simple yet important materials make the difference for families as the temperatures drop, to repair damaged tents and reinforce their shelters. These supplies reached communities in both North and South Gaza, offering an added layer of protection from the cold.

Over the weekend, more than 8,500 families also received deliveries of milk, fresh fruits and vegetables, including peppers, avocados, bananas, lemons, sweet potatoes, carrots, and cabbage. Since the start of our response, thousands of tons of nourishing produce have been placed directly into the hands of vulnerable households.

With the support of Cyprus, UNOPS and partners through the Amalthea Plan, our shipments continue moving through the Cyprus Maritime Corridor, ensuring vital relief reaches Gaza safely and efficiently.

Next week, we will be bringing in an additional 45,000 hygiene kits, building upon the thousands we’ve already distributed since early October. We are taking every step we can to help protect families’ health and dignity in overcrowded displacement settings.
