Our response has officially begun. Watch below as our team at the Atlanta, Georgia warehouse loads trucks with critical supplies destined for the impact zone:

Current Situation: Hurricane Isaias
  • Storm Strength: Isaias has strengthened into a Category 3 major hurricane, marking the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic season.
  • Expected Landfall: Landfall is forecast for late tonight along the northern Gulf Coast, centered near Pensacola, Florida, and extending across the Florida Panhandle and southern Alabama.
  • Warnings in Effect: Hurricane warnings span from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to the Bay/Gulf County line in Florida. Over 1.7 million residents are currently under warnings, with storm surge warnings stretching across the Gulf Coast.
  • Evacuations & Anticipated Impact: Mandatory evacuations have been issued for multiple coastal counties in Alabama and Florida. Forecasters warn of life-threatening storm surges, severe rainfall flooding, high winds inland into Georgia and the Southeast, and potential disruptions to regional infrastructure.
Our Response Strategy

As Hurricane Isaias approaches, the AH&H team is already on the ground, securing supplies and preparing responders.

We have also begun outreach to Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs) and Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOADs), including participation in coordination meetings to better understand priority needs and identify where AH&H can contribute most effectively.

This situation is rapidly evolving, but we remain focused on immediate preparedness: assessing community vulnerabilities, staging emergency equipment, and keeping supply lines open for rapid deployment. Your support makes this early setup possible, helping us bring fast relief to families as soon as the storm passes.

We will continue to update our website and social channels with live field reports from our teams as landfall occurs and initial damage assessments begin
