Recently, we saw the world change again in what felt like a matter of moments. Increased hostilities in the Middle East turned a grave situation dire in Lebanon, where now, a massive displacement crisis is unfolding.
Airstrikes across southern Lebanon have forced families to evacuate their homes with little more than what they could carry. Evacuation warnings have sent people fleeing their homes to the streets, unsure of where they will go next.
Right now, the Lebanon crisis has displaced more than one million people, including hundreds of thousands of children. Behind that number are families now sleeping in overcrowded shelters, cars, shared apartments, and makeshift spaces, without mattresses and blankets, and some of the most basic essentials needed to get through the night.

Our Ongoing Humanitarian Response in Lebanon
In response to the growing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, All Hands & Hearts is working alongside local partners, including Sawa Blessed, to support families in urgent need in Aley, Beirut and Chouf.
We are delivering essential relief items to displaced families and helping equip shelters, where 96% are at full capacity, with the basics needed for daily survival.
So far, our Lebanon aid response team has delivered:
- 2,000 mattresses
- 3,000 blankets
- 1,000 hygiene kits
- 1,000 feminine care kits
- 500 baby care kits
Families are doing everything they can to adapt under shock, as they care for children in overcrowded spaces and share limited resources. These items help ease the discomfort of displacement while navigating their next steps during all this uncertainty.
As the number of urgently displaced people continues to rise, access to safe shelter remains one of the most urgent needs. Shelters are at full capacity across the country, and families don’t know where to turn to next.
We are supporting efforts to equip a new shelter that will house up to 1,500 people, providing materials like bedding, blankets, and hygiene supplies. This work is being carried out in close collaboration with local organizations leading the response on the ground.
The situation in Lebanon is volatile, and the needs are growing by the day.
We are working to remain adaptable, deliver the aid that’s most needed, support displaced communities, and make sure families are not facing this crisis alone.
