This weekend, we proudly celebrated the handover of brand-new, sustainable and earthquake-resilient schools and student shelter in Santa Ana Necoxtla, Puebla.

Built in partnership with the local community, the project includes Albergue Escolar No. 48 (a student shelter) and upgrades to three nearby schools, benefiting more than 360 children and their families. With safe, sustainable classrooms, modern bathrooms, WASH facilities, a bamboo kitchen, rainwater harvesting, and access to computers, students now have the safe, inspiring spaces they deserve to learn and grow.

This newest program completion is also a celebration of community strength. Three local women trained through our Female Mason Program contributed their skills to this rebuild, leaving behind a legacy of strength and progress for future generations.

Eight years after the devastating 2017 earthquakes, this handover is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we work together: safe schools, brighter futures and hope that endures.
