At least 26 people have died and hundreds of homes have been destroyed after devastating wildfires which began in central Uiseong county, South Korea. The largest of the fires impacted more than 88,960 acres, making it the biggest single forest fire in South Korea’s history. About 37,000 people have been displaced. Authorities are mobilizing more than 9,000 people and about 120 helicopters to battle the fires. All Hands and Hearts is monitoring the situation.
