North Carolina Wildfires

Two large wildfires in North Carolina continue to burn in North Carolina, forcing evacuations as crews work to contain the flames. As of Sunday evening, the North Carolina Forest Service reported four active fires in the county. The largest—Black Cove (2,076 acres) and Deep Wood (2,545 acres)—remain uncontained, with efforts ongoing to slow their spread. All Hands and Hearts is monitoring the situation.
