Supporting Search-and-Rescue Around the Clock in Colombia

As search-and-rescue operations continue across earthquake-affected communities in Colombia, All Hands & Hearts is helping equip first responders with the tools, protective equipment, and emergency supplies they need to safely continue trying to find survivors.

Days after the earthquake, rescue teams in Pereira and Cali continue working around the clock. Floodlights illuminate collapsed buildings through the night as firefighters, volunteers, and medical teams carefully clear debris  and search for survivors. As operations continue, the need for specialized equipment remains constant.

All Hands & Hearts has continued working alongside local responders to identify evolving needs and deliver critical supplies directly to the front lines.

In Pereira, the team delivered generators, high-powered lights, extension cords, fresh water, food, medicines, and personal protective equipment, including more than 200 pairs of gloves and 200 N95 masks, helping crews continue operations  safely through long days and nights.

In both Pereira and Cali, firefighters, volunteers, and rescue teams also received heavy-duty rescue tools, helmets, safety glasses, and other specialized equipment to support ongoing search-and-rescue efforts. By staying in close coordination with local responders, All Hands & Hearts continues to adapt its response as needs evolve, helping equip the people leading rescue efforts in their own communities.

As rescue efforts continue, All Hands & Hearts remains on the ground working alongside local responders to help ensure they have the tools they need when every minute matters.
