With hostilities in the Middle East rapidly escalating, continued support for families in Gaza is more important than ever.
Across Gaza, we are still discovering neighborhoods where aid has barely reached. Devastation stretches as far as the eye can see, with families returning to homes that no longer exist and sleeping on the ground in collapsed buildings or makeshift shelters without reliable access to water, warmth, or basic supplies.

Despite the growing challenges in the region, our teams continue delivering critical supplies to families who need them most.
Yet even in these conditions, families are doing everything they can to rebuild daily life and hold onto hope where they can.
“On distribution day, I met a woman standing patiently in line, repeatedly thanking God. She told me her family had been struggling to access clean water, and her husband had been planning to buy several jerrycans. But the high prices and scarcity made it nearly impossible.
That morning she prayed for help. Two hours later, she received a message saying she would receive jerrycans.” — Reham, AH&H team member in Gaza
AH&H Arrives at New Displacement Camps
Yesterday, our team reached four new displacement camps, where we supported over 700 families with essential supplies. Families in Al-Sham camp in Khan Younis and in South Gaza at Al-Hayat camp, Adam camp, and Al-Najat camp received tarps, blankets, kitchen sets, and clean water, and jerrycans to safely store and carry water, all items were critically needed by most families.
Returning to Al-Zarqaa
While visiting families living in tents in Al-Zarqaa, where around 1,300 families have returned to an area where 90% of homes have been destroyed, our team met six sisters who are transforming their circumstances into something beautiful.
Surrounded by the rubble of their former home, the girls have started a small embroidery business called Six Flowers. Stitch by stitch, they are creating colorful designs and selling them to support their family, building both beauty and a way forward in the place where they once lost everything.
This brief encounter reminded us that even in the midst of devastation, creativity and resilience can still take root.

Our team returned to Al-Zarqaa after an initial visit revealed the immense need there, delivering aid to 400 households with tarps, jerrycans, and kitchen sets. These simple items make an enormous difference:
- Tarps help families create basic shelter where roofs, doors, or windows are missing
- Jerrycans allow families to safely store and carry water
- Kitchen sets give families the ability to prepare meals again
These materials help families regain small pieces of daily life while they continue to rebuild.

More Deliveries to North Gaza, Where Aid Hadn’t Reached Before
We also returned to Jabalia in northern Gaza, where many neighborhoods had not received aid before our initial February delivery to more than 800 families. This time, our teams reached Al-Falouja, Beir Alnaja, and Al-Karama, providing 4,500 people with essential supplies including tarps, blankets, kitchen sets, and jerrycans for water.
From there, we extended our efforts to Mashrou’ Amer, Shaikh Radwan, Al-Helo, and Al-Deera camps, supporting another 4,700 people with the same critical items. In just two days across North Gaza.
Together, these distributions helped more than 9,000 people meet urgent daily needs and create safer, more comfortable temporary shelters.

Fresh Fruits & Vegetables
Food insecurity remains a major challenge across Gaza, especially for children.
Recently, students in displacement camps in Khan Younis and Deir al Balah received deliveries of fresh fruits and vegetables at school, both for themselves and to take home to their families.
These deliveries included nutritious produce such as carrots, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, peppers, onions, cabbage, oranges, bananas, and more.
Seeing these smiles never gets old. Soon, we will have delivered 1 million pounds of fresh produce to families across Gaza.

Blankets Providing Warmth During Cold Nights
This winter has been especially difficult. Families are sheltering in displacement camps or among the rubble of their former homes, often without adequate protection from the cold. As nighttime temperatures drop close to freezing, hypothermia and illness remain real threats, particularly for children and the elderly.
For families with very little left, these blankets equate to survival during long and difficult nights.
Our team received 10,000 additional blankets at our warehouse in Gaza, which have already begun to be distributed across both North and South Gaza.
