Tibet Earthquake

A powerful earthquake hit the remote, mountainous Tibet region in China, causing over 100 fatalities and injuring nearly 200. The 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the area on the border of Nepal, damaging more than 1,000 buildings and disrupting power and water in the region.
