Over the weekend, our team in Florida started assessments in the Ft. Myers and Naples areas but found no major impacts from the recent rainfall. Reports indicate there is still standing water in the eastern regions of the state. Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency for five counties as more heavy rainfall is expected throughout the day. June 13, 2024 - 14:00 (EDT) - Update 2

A Flood Watch remains in effect for all of South Florida through Friday evening with periods of widespread showers and thunderstorms bringing anywhere from 4 – 10 inches of rain over the next 24 hours according to the National Weather Service.

Florida is experiencing significant flooding due to an influx of tropical moisture leading to heavy rainfall across the state. Widespread showers and thunderstorms have led to flash flooding throughout the region and the current forecast indicates additional rounds of heavy rain through the weekend. All Hands and Hearts is closely monitoring the impacts of this weather system.
