After a prolonged drought and the hottest summer on record, Bolivia has been experiencing torrential rains, causing life-threatening flooding and landslides. Hundreds of towns and villages have been put on alert. Most notably, the northern city of Cobija has been declared a disaster zone after 42 people lost their lives and over 31,000 displaced. All Hands and Hearts will continue to monitor the disaster’s impacts.
