Six Months On: Supporting Families in California Wildfire Recovery

Six months after the Southern California wildfires, All Hands and Hearts remains in Los Angeles County, supporting families with smoke remediation, essential supplies and youth mental health resources as part of long-term recovery.

Six months after devastating wildfires tore through Southern California, displacing more than 200,000 people, our team remains on the ground in Los Angeles County to support families and communities as they recover and rebuild.

We’ve remediated smoke damage in over 100 homes, supported more than 300 families with furnishings and essentials, and partnered with 24LA to provide basic needs through the “Shop with Dignity” initiative. Alongside Boys & Girls Club Pasadena, we’re also investing in youth mental health through camp scholarships and an in-house licensed psychologist.

Our commitment is long-term: prioritizing safe housing, community well-being, and access to essential services. With recovery still ongoing, we’ve officially extended our efforts in California, and invite you to join us in continuing this important work.
