Why volunteer? The reasons are endless…but we’ve made a start!
In All Hands and Hearts’ (AHAH) 17 years of operation, we’ve welcomed more than 63,000 volunteers and pride ourselves on their feedback. Year-round, we hear from volunteers that they had a meaningful experience and left our program bases with a sense of accomplishment. Not only do volunteers leave AHAH programs knowing they have made a difference, but they return home with life-long friends, new skills, a renewed sense of adventure and new doors open to their future.

REASON ONE: YOU’LL BE MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT
A central part of our mission is to support the long term recovery of rural and underserved communities and empower survivors of disasters to rebuild resilience. In the past 17 years, we have completed 144 disaster relief programs impacting more than 1.2 million lives. Our school rebuild programs have meant that more than 117,000 students could return to safe learning spaces, which are resilient enough to serve the generations to come.

REASON TWO: YOU’LL BE EMBARKING ON A TRANSFORMATIONAL EXPERIENCE
