It’s insanely overwhelming to see how people from various walks of life, coming in from different places, despite their race, religion or gender, have united for one noble cause. Restores my faith in humanity.

My stay has been like a vacation to me where, you enjoy the long summer doing the things you love, knowing that every house we erect brings back happiness into people’s lives who’ve suffered so much. I am an architect, making houses was always fun for me, but to rebuild homes here is so satisfying that it can’t be adequately put in words. Everybody here is passionately engrossed in trying to get the community back on its feet. I got to learn new things every day, be it about the site we’re working on or just a casual ‘laying on the hammock and playing the guitar’ conversations. It’s time you tried it. Join the purple army.
